Beyoncé famously proclaimed – “Who run the world? Girls!” and the ladies are leading The High Note’s picks for New Music Friday, July 29, 2022.
At the top of the list is one for all the Beyhives out there with Beyoncé”s highly anticipated “Renaissance.”
In the singer-songwriter realm, there are three woman who have all previously released excellent records with new albums out today: Hayley Kiyoko, Maggie Rogers and Amanda Shires.
I’m also checking out “Real Rare Whale,” the latest from Australian rockers Dune Rats, “Freewave Lucifer F<ck F^ck F>ck,” from the psychedelic rock band Of Montreal, London-based rockers Cheerbleederz with “Even In Jest,” stoner rap icon Wiz Khalifa with “Multiverse” and for the jazz heads, from Harish Raghavan “In Tense.”
