The final New Music Friday of March is definitely going out with a big flash of rap, punk and new music from singer-songwriters all feeling this spring season.
The fifth album from rapper Denzel Curry – “Melt My Eyez See Your Future” is out today, Friday, March 25, 2022 and hip-hop fans will also be queuing up the posthumous release from Phife Dawg – “Forever.”
Rapper turned rocker Machine Gun Kelly is out with his second album with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker “Mainstream Sellout” and country singer-songwriter Maren Morris is on her “Humble Quest.”
Dig into the heavy guitar riffs of Loop on “Sonancy,” go “Running with the Hurricane” with Australian rockers Camp Cope and blanket yourself in self-love with singer-songwriter Jensen McRae’s latest album “Are You Happy Now?”
Lastly dive into jazz history with “The Genesis of Genius: The Contemporary Albums” of jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman.
