This week’s New Music Friday brings a fascinating mix of genres and artists all released Friday, Feb. 23, 2024.
Leading the pack, Ghetts unleashes “On Purpose, with Purpose” and MGMT returns with “Loss of Life.”
Two of my favorite bands also have new albums out today: Real Estate‘s “Daniel” invites listeners into a world of jangly guitars and dreamy melodies and Bombay Bicycle Club‘s “Fantasies” continues to showcase their ability to blend infectious rhythms with evocative lyrics.
Lastly, Ghost Funk Orchestra’s “A Trip To The Moon” takes us on a genre-defying journey, melding funk, soul, and psychedelic sounds to create a sonic experience that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
