New Music Friday on The High Note

With spring holidays upon us, The High Note has all the freshest new music to fuel your travel or to drop on the dinner table when you’re clearing plates with all the newest albums released today, Friday, April 15, 2022.

The band that probably introduced me to electronic music in the 90s, The Crystal Method, is out with a new album “The Trip Out.” Speaking of the 90s, Jewel is out with her latest album “Freewheelin’ Woman.”

Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, rocker Kurt Vile is out with his latest album “Watch My Moves,” Edgar Winter has a tribute to his elder guitarist “Brother Johnny,” and hardcore punk rockers A Wilhelm Scream is out with “Lose Your Delusion.”

Lastly, for the jazzheads, check out  the latest album from vibraphonist Joel Ross – “The Parable of the Poet.”

As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, April 15, 2022 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.

Let me know what you’re listening to this week on social media @highnoteblog and in the comments.
