School is back in session and The High Note is here to help ease you into the fall season with all the latest albums released today, Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.
At the top of my list are new albums from singer-songwriters – Scotland native KT Tunstall is out with her seventh album “Nut” and California folk singer Madison Cunningham has released her third “Revealer.”
A couple of old punk rock favorites have returned – Doug Martsch is back with a new Built To Spill album and Celtic rockers Flogging Molly are out with “Anthem.”
Washington D.C.-based soul singer Ari Lennox is out with her sophomore album “Age/Sex/Location” and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native singer-songwriter Santigold is out with her latest “Spirituals.”
Julian Lennon is embracing his famous family on his latest “Jude” and the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne is back with “Patient Number 9.”
There is even something for the pop music fans – Robbie Williams has, “XXV,” rap fans may enjoy Sampa the Great’s “As Above, So Below,” the country music lovers may see Kane Brown as a “Different Man” on his latest album and finally for the electronic music fans – Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs emerges “When the Lights Go.”
As always, the entire list of new albums released this week is below in no particular order with my most anticipated albums in bold. Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog
