New Music Friday on The High Note

It’s the day after Thanksgiving and we at The High Note hope that you saved room for some new music because we have an extra heaping helping of tunes for y’all.

It’s Black Friday as today is traditionally known so let’s start with Black Label Society as the first in my picks for new albums released Friday, Nov. 26.

Fans of David Bowie will be happy to see another posthumous release with “Toy,” which features a diabolically freaky album cover.

I am a fan of both Rufus Wainwright and Sun O)))) both of whom have collaborative releases out today. Another collaboration you won’t want to miss is between The Flaming Lips and Nell Smith – “Where the Viaduct Looms.”

Last but never least, from Erie, Pennsylvania, Concrete Castles is out with “The Densest Fog.”

As always, my entire list of new albums released today, Friday, November 26, 2021 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
