The High Note

It’s another happy Friday here at The High Note as we celebrate another week in the books and find some fresh tunes to fuel the weekend.

It doesn’t feel like it’s mid-July, but sometimes, I forget that I’m in the middle of a global pandemic, especially when I’m working to provide you good readers with sound music advice.

Wow – a new album from Bush! See, this is why I write this blog each week! Also, The Chicks, formerly known as Dixie Chicks are back as are Pretenders and Kansas. This is 2020, right? I’m checking out albums by Ellie Goulding, Nicholas Jaar, Oliver Tree, Protomartyr, Joey Bada$$ and Jens Lekman.

Below, in no particular order, is my list of new albums released today, Friday, July 17, 2020. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
