New Music Friday on The High Note

It’s hard to believe it’s the last New Music Friday of January already but by the list of powerful albums released today, Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, it’s no surprise.

At the top of my list is the latest from New Jersey rock band Pinegrove with “11:11.” Keeping with the rockers, don’t miss out on albums from Aaron Lewis, Eels, Jetro Tull, North Mississippi Allstars Steve Vai and John Mayall.

For soul fans, check out the latest from Amber Mark, Samm Henshaw, Lady Wray and St. Paul and The Broken Bones.

Lastly, singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell has her self-titled solo debut out today.

As always, the entire list of albums released today, Friday, January 28, 2022 is below in no particular order with my most anticipated albums in bold.

Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog.
