New Music Friday on The High Note

It’s the first New Music Friday for August and this week The High Note is bouncing with beats.

For the hip-hop fans, Bobby Shmurda is out with his latest EP “BodBoy” and YoungBoy Never Broke Again is out with his fourth album “The Last Slimeto.”

For the house music fans, Calvin Harris is out with the funky follow-up to his 2017 album “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2.”

For the rock fans, Russian political punk band Pussy Riot is out with “Matriarchy Now” and Neil Young and the Promise of the Real is out with “Noise and Flowers” which was recorded during its 2019 European tour.

Lastly, jazz roots band Kokoroko is out with “Could We Be More.”

As always, all the albums released today, Friday, Aug. 5, 2022 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
