New Music Friday on The High Note

The High Note is wrapping up spring break this week and hopefully, everyone is well-rested and maybe even vaccinated. I know I am ready to enjoy some with a whole new batch of fresh tunes released Friday, April 9, 2021.

Sufjan Stevens is out with the first installment of his five-album suite this one is entitled “Meditations” and  Brockhampton is back with “ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE.”

I’m also stocked about the new albums by singer-songwriters Parker Millsap and Samantha Crain. In the electronic world, I’m definitely going to listen to the new CFCF album and I’m nostalgic for Cheap Trick’s latest album.

As always, the full list of new albums released today, Friday, April 9 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.

Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media.
