New Music Friday on The High Note

The summer season is off to a great start and The High Note has harvested a bounty of new albums released today, Friday, June 17, 2022 to add to your summer playlist.

First up, the alternative rock queen Alanis Morisette is out with her latest “The Calm Before The Storm” and I’m most stoked about British rock band Foals who is out with its latest “Life Is Yours.”

Nick Cave is out with a physical-only album “Seven Psalms” and singer-songwriter Perfume Genius is out with “Ugly Season.”

For the country music fans, Hank Williams Jr. is out with a new album, “Rich White Honky Tonk Blues” and Grey Daze  has taken its former bandmate Chester Bennington’s vocals from the 1990s for a new album “Amends.”

As always, the entire list of albums released today, Friday, June 17, 2022 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
