It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas so the New Music Friday list is getting shorter. But, The High Note is always making a list of new tunes because there is always room for more music.
There are still a few releases from major artists, including singer Shawn Mendes, rapper Yungblud, singer-songwriter Tori-Amos and Texas world-rock band Khruangbin. I’m also checking out new releases from Joan of Arc, Com Truise and Calexico.
As always, the full list of new albums released today, Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 is below in no particular order. I put my most anticipated albums in bold. Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below or on social media.
