The world is full of surprises and today is no different. Yesterday, Taylor Swift announced her new album, “Evermore,” which was made up of sessions from “Folklore,” would be released today, and it features a song with none other than Haim. And, I thought that would be the only major release.
I’m a big fan of The Avalanches, so I’m excited about
“We Will Always Love You.” I also admire the effort that M. Ward put into his album of Billie Holiday covers “Think Of Spring,” and Sturgill Simpson released a new installment in his “Cuttin’ Grass” series.
I’m also excited about new albums by Kacy and Clayton with Marlon Williams, Guided by Voices, The Kills, Belle and Sebastian, Foster the People, Less Than Jake and the latest release in the Jazz Is Dead series featuring Doug Carn.
