You know that saying about the weather – that March comes in like a lion. Well, the first New Music Friday of the month is roaring with good music.
There are so many great new albums released today, Friday, March 5, 2021, that it’s hard to know where to begin.
I’ll start with an oldie but goodie -The Spill Canvas who is back with “Conduit.” I was most excited about the new album from Andrew Bird and Jimbo Mathus from Squirrel Nut Zippers “These 13.” Besides those, Alex Bleeker from Real Estate has a solo project out today.
As if that’s not enough, I’m loving what I have heard from the latest project from Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats and Instagram sensation bassist Blu DeTiger.
I am also checking out new albums from Adult Mom, Elizabeth and the Catapult, Fruit Bats, Ian Sweet, Jane Weaver jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, Tigers Jaw, singer Zara Larsson and of Montreal.
Lastly, Kings of Leon will release its latest album, “When You See Yourself,” via traditional methods as well as its first non-fungible token version of a release in addition to some other art from the band.
