New Music Friday on The High Note

Everyone is talking about the one-year anniversary of the Covid-19 pandemic and all I keep thinking about is summer concerts. Festivals, I see festivals. Better to see the festivals than to smell the festivals, but that’s for another blog.

Today, we’re here to talk about new music because it is New Music Friday after all and it is a bit of a short week for Friday, March 12, 2021.

My most anticipated album is from singer-songwriter Valerie June who released “The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers” today. I’m also stoked about “Notes with Attachments” from the powerhouse duo of Blake Mills and Pino Palladino. And Philly artist Lushlife also has a new album “Redamancy.”

Finally, there are some familiar names with new releases from Rob Zombie, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez.

As always, the complete list of new albums released today, Friday, March 12, 2021 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold. Let me know in the comments below or on social media what you’re listening to.
