New Music Friday is just cruising through February with some fresh tunes to add to your soundtrack that were released Friday, Feb. 18, 2022.
At the top of my list is the latest album from dream pop duo Beach House, “Once Twice Melody,” the band’s first album in four years.
I couldn’t be more excited for an album as I am for the follow-up to “Texas Sun” from Khruangbin and Leon Bridges “Texas Moon,” which combines the band’s psychedelic sound with the singer’s soulful words.
I love how Grateful Dead founder Bob Weir still refers to himself as Bobby Weir and Wolf Bros on his latest album “Live in Colorado,” but he definitely has the right to with his vigor.
Curren$y and The Alchemist follow up on the legendary hip hop albums that they have created with “Continuance.”
Lastly, don’t sleep on the latest albums by folk duo Shovels and Rope “Manticore” and “House” from Swedish pop band Shout Out Louds.
