New Music Friday on The High Note

Valentine’s Day is upon us and what better gift for your sweetheart or your own heart than sharing your love of new music. The High Note has you covered with all the new albums released Friday, Feb. 11, 2022.

For the rock fans, at the top of my list are the latest albums from Alt-J, Big Thief, Eddie Vedder, Spoon and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy.

For fans of folk, Frank Turner and Amos Lee will fill your heart with strings and songwriting. Rap fans Snoop Dogg is letting everyone know that he is back on Death Row with his latest album and Apollo Brown and Stalley team up for Blacklight.

Lastly, for jazz and funk fans, I have been loving Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio for the past year, so don’t be surprised if you see “Cold As Weiss” as an upcoming review.

As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, February 22, 2022 is below in no particular order. Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog.
