You made it through another week so congratulations! There are plenty of reasons to celebrate Fridays but here at The High Note, it’s all about new music.
This week we have a full slate of new albums released Friday, April 16. From hop-hop to rock to country to soulful singers, there is something here for you to like – whether it is a new artist or an old favorite.
The second installment of Sufjan Stevens’ epic ongoing collection was released today as was the highly anticipated sophomore album by Greta Van Fleet “The Battle at Garden’s Gate,” is out today.
I’m also excited about new albums by singer-songwriter London Grammer, rapper Conway the Machine, a live album by Norah Jones and a new album by Young Thug. I also love prog rock so of course, I am looking forward to the latest installment from Dream Theater supergroup Liquid Tension Experiment and since I mentioned one supergroup, another, Gotham, a collaboration of Talib Kweli and Diamond D, is out with its debut.
