Happy Friday the 13th, music lovers! If you’re feeling superstitious, let the antidote be this absolutely stacked week of new releases. From pop experimentalists to jazz innovators and punk veterans, the lineup for Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 has something for everyone.
Jill Scott makes her long-awaited return with “To Whom This May Concern,” her first album in over a decade, featuring collaborations with JID, Tierra Whack, Too $hort, and Ab-Soul alongside production from DJ Premier and Trombone Shorty.
Gogol Bordello drops “We Mean It, Man!” via Casa Gogol Records, a record co-produced by Nick Launay and Adam Greenspan that pushes the band’s gypsy punk roots deeper into post-punk and electronic territory.
Philadelphia’s own Remember Sports release “The Refrigerator” on Get Better Records, a self-produced album recorded at Chicago’s Electrical Audio that channels pandemic-era uncertainty into bruising, cathartic indie rock.
Story of the Year returns with their eighth studio album “A.R.S.O.N.” — short for “All Rage, Still Only Numb” – delivering another round of Colin Brittain-produced melodic post-hardcore via SharpTone Records.
London-based multi-instrumentalist Momoko Gill steps out with her self-titled debut on Strut Records, a stunning blend of jazz, electronic, and soul that features a 50-person choir on “When Palestine Is Free” and was mixed by Matthew Herbert.
