As summer continues to bring the heat, so does New Music Friday for Aug. 9, 2024.

Beabadoobee returns with”This Is How Tomorrow Moves.”

Psychedelic rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard drop “Flight b741.”

Philadelphia’s own Amos Lee graces us with “Transmissions.”

Lastly, the late Justin Townes Earle continues to leave his mark on the music world with the posthumous release of “All In: Unreleased & Rarities (The New West Years).”

As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
