Do Australians just play by their own rules? I’m not talking about football – I’m talking about both Nick Cave, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard coming out with new albums on a Thursday. I’m not hating on them, I just want a heads up next time to look for new music on a Thursday.
For the rest of us who are checking out New Music Friday on this Feb. 26, the last for the month, there are some new albums from old favorites like Alice Cooper, Willie Nelson and Neil Young.
I’m most stoked about a new album from my favorite punk rock band, NOFX, but also fellow Warped Tour performers Melvins have an album out today as well.
Probably most worth the listening time is the new albums from Adrian Younge as well as Julien Baker. I’m also looking forward to checking out new albums from Menahan Street Band, Cloud Nothings, Of Mice and Men, Curtis Salgado, Sam Dew, Karima Walker and Glitterer.
