While I’m writing this, most of America captivated by an undecided presidential election and I’m just sitting here with some noise-canceling headphones and a long list of good tunes to rock out on this New Music Friday.
If you thought disco was dead, Kylie Minogue has a whole album to prove you wrong. Also, remember System of a Down? Yeah, me too. And, they have a new album out too. Everything comes back to life, we did just pass Halloween, after all.
I’m also looking forward to two debut albums – singer and violinist from Beirut, Heather Trost’s album “Petrichor” and rapper Chester Watson’s “A Japanese Horror Film.” I also am definitely going to be listening to the new Neil Young and Crazy Horse live album “Return to Greendale” and the latest Jazz is Dead project – “Azymuth – JID004.”
