It’s officially autumn and The High Note has gathered up a big bundle of new albums released Friday, Sept. 24 like the leaves that will inevitably turn and fall.
Alt-rock is alive and well this week with Angels and Airwaves, Cold War Kids, Jesse Malin, Public Service Broadcasting and Third Eye Blind all with new albums out today.
I’m particularly stoked about the new album from bluegrass guitarist Billy Strings as well as the debut collaboration between Sufjan Stevens and Angelo De Augustine.
Other notable releases include albums by Esperanza Spalding, Natalie Imbruglia, NBA Youngboy, Pop 1280, Poppy and Ringo Starr.
As always, the entire list of albums released today, Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 is below in no particular order.
My most anticipated albums are in bold. Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog.
