New Music Friday - The High Note with Shaun Smith

What’s old is new again this week for New Music Friday, Sept. 20, 2024.

Billy Strings who is leading the bluegrass revival is out with “Highway Prayers.”

For the 90s rock fans, Soul Asylum and Bright Eyes are both out with new albums.

The classic rock fans can rejoice over new albums by Herb Albert, Van Morrison and the release of live recordings of Bob Dylan with The Band.

Rounding out the playlist are electronic artist Jamie xx and my favorite hip-hop producer, The Alchemist.

As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 is below in no particular order.

Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog.
