Just in case you didn’t have your fill of fun on St. Patrick’s Day, The High Note is here to help your hangover with some fresh tunes released Friday, March 18, 2022.
They say there is nothing like “Hits From The Bong” to cure a hangover so lets start off with our friends – B-Real, Sen Dog and Eric Bobo, who are back with DJ Muggs for a new Cypress Hill album “Back in Black.”
After breaking up nearly 10 years ago, Sonic Youth is also back with a new album, appropriately titled “In/Out/In,” and in similar lineage hardcore punk band Hot Water Music is out with its latest “Feel The Void.”
Two more of my favorite rock bands are out with new albums; on the lighter side Midlake – “For the Sake of Bethel Woods” and on the heavier side, Stabbing Westward is out with “Chasing Ghosts.”
Hip-hop fans will be happy to check out two collaborative efforts – Raw Poetic and Damu the Fudgemunk are out with “Laminated Skies” and Bladee and ECCO2K are out with “Crest.”
There are also great new albums by Yumi Zouma, Mattiel, Babeheaven, Without Waves, Little Boots and a lot more so check them out!
As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, March 18, 2022 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog.
