It may be cold outside but the year is just heating up with New Music Friday for Jan. 17, 2025.
At the top of my list is the highly anticipated posthumous Mac Miller album “Balloonerism” recorded around the same time as “Faces.”
The seventh studio album from The Weather Station “Humanhood”
delves into personal introspection, through a combination of folk and jazz.
The debut album by jasmine.4.t “You Are the Morning” combines acoustic emo and arena rock influences.
Victoria Canal’s latest release, “Slowly, It Dawns,” contains soulful melodies and introspective lyrics.
Inspired by weaving practices, Blue Lake’s mini-album “Weft” presents a tapestry of ambient and experimental sounds.
As always, the entire list of albums released today, Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
