New Music Friday - The High Note with Shaun Smith

This week’s New Music Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, closes out the year for The High Note.

Hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre reunite for “Missionary,” their first full-length collaboration since 1993’s “Doggystyle,” featuring artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Jhené Aiko.

The National returns with “Rome,” delivering their signature introspective rock sound.

K-pop sensation Stray Kids drops “Hop,” showcasing their dynamic energy.

My favorite producer The Alchemist teams up with Roc Marciano for “The Skeleton Key,” offering a fresh take on underground hip-hop.

Additionally, “Bare Bones,” a collection of duo performances by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, explores the foundation of their beloved studio recordings.

As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, December 13, 2024 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
