New Music Friday on The High Note

It’s the last New Music Friday of August and The High Note has you covered like a beach umbrella as you soak up the last rays of the month with all the new albums released today, Friday, Aug. 26, 2022.

Emo rapper Blackbear is out with his latest album “In Loving Memory” and New Zeland folk comedian singer-songwriter Bred McKenzie is out with his sophomore solo album “Songs Without Jokes”

I’m probably most looking forward to the sophomore release from blues guitarist Marcus King “Young Blood” and the latest collaborative album from The Alchemist with Roc Marciano – “The Elephant Man’s Bones.”

Lastly, for alternative rock fans, British rockers Sports Team is out with “Gulp!” and the Baltimore, Maryland-based Teen Suicide is out with “honeybee table at the butterfly feast.”

As always, the entire list of albums released today, Friday, Aug. 26, 2022 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.

Let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media @highnoteblog.
