New Music Friday on The High Note

The season may be coming to a close with Labor Day weekend upon us but The High Note is savoring every last minute of summer with a New Music Friday playlist with all the new albums released today, Sept. 3, 2021.

Who says rock music is dead? Definitely note Iron Maiden who is as epic as ever with the heavy metal band’s 17th album “Senjutsu.” Speaking of big, Imagine Dragons is out with “Mercury – Act I,” an album so big apparently it will be released in parts.

British rapper Little Simz’s debut album, “Sometimes I Might Be Introvert,” and Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers album “The Ultra Vivid Lament,” are both at the top of my list of new releases today.

Lastly, don’t miss out on the second album from DJ Seinfield, “Mirrors.”

As always, the entire list of new albums released today, Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 is below in no particular order. My most anticipated albums are in bold.
