New Music Friday on The High Note

All eyes will be on the Super Bowl this weekend but before we get to the big game, consider New Music Friday like the ultimate pregame party – especially when Foo Fighters are on the bill.

The band’s party rock album “Medicine at Midnight” was released today, Friday, Feb. 5 and is definitely at the top of my playlist this weekend.

For the fans of folk, Tamara Lindeman has a new album with her project, The Weather Station and Shovels and Rope released its third volume in its Busted Jukebox series.

I’m also going to be checking out albums by Black Country, New Road, Deacon Blue, The Staves, TV Priest and a collection from composer John Carpenter.

As always, let me know what you’re listening to in the comments below and on social media. Don’t forget to check out Shauny the Greek’s picks for music prop bets related to this week’s game.
